Ingredients
- 1 cup sarson saag (mustard leaves, chopped finely)
- 1 cup spinach leaves (chopped)
- 1 pod garlic
- 1/2 inch piece ginger
- 2 tbsp chopped mint leaves
- 2 cups breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsps besan
- 2 green chillies, finely chopped
- Oil for deep frying
How to make Green Tikkis
- Boil the spinach and mustard leaves with the ginger and garlic till soft.
- Drain out the excess water and grind to a paste.
- Now, mix in the chopped mint and green chillies and the bread crumbs and also the besan.
- Shape into round tikkis and fry in hot till crispy and golden brown.
- Serve with sauce or chutney.
