Ingredients
- Basmati rice 1 cup
- Cauliflower (cut into small pieces) 250 grams
- Green peas 150 grams
- Thinly sliced potatoes 200 grams
- Cinnamon 2 sticks
- Cloves 4
- Black pepper 7
- Bay leaves 2
- Green cardamom 2
- Thinly sliced onions 2
- Thinly sliced green chili 2
- Vegetable oil 4 tbsp.
- Paste of {green Coriander leaves, green chilies, ginger} about 100 grams
- Salt to taste
- Garam Masala Powder – little
How to make Hara Pulao
- Put some oil on non-stick pan and fry cinnamon, bay leaves, black pepper, and cloves for half a minute on low flame
- · Add green chilies and sliced onions until they change their color. keep this mix aside.
- · To add some extra flavor, add the remaining oil and fry all the vegetables for around 5 minutes.
- · Now add the paste of green chilies, coriander leaves, and ginger.
- · Add fried onions mix along with garam masala and salt. Stir fry for more than 5 minutes.
- · On the other hand, wash the rice and cook like normal rice.
- · Once it’s cooled, add all the above ingredients to the rice.
- · Hara pulao is ready. Serve hot dressed with chopped coriander leaves.
