Green Tikkis Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sarson saag (mustard leaves, chopped finely)
  • 1 cup spinach leaves (chopped)
  • 1 pod garlic
  • 1/2 inch piece ginger
  • 2 tbsp chopped mint leaves
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 3 tbsps besan
  • 2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • Oil for deep frying

How to make Green Tikkis

  • Boil the spinach and mustard leaves with the ginger and garlic till soft.
  • Drain out the excess water and grind to a paste.
  • Now, mix in the chopped mint and green chillies and the bread crumbs and also the besan.
  • Shape into round tikkis and fry in hot till crispy and golden brown.
  • Serve with sauce or chutney.
